I've got an operation for a meniscus tear right knee the medial was removed I have been in alot of pain untill they gave a cortisone shot about a month after the operation and just days before I had to see the worker's compensation doctor. He witness no pain, but I inform him about the cortisone shot and showed him a letter from my doctor that the shot was given.
