On 12/16/2017 I was in a car accident. I was rear ended on my brand new car I had just gotten that day. Turns out a car behind me slammed into me because he was rear ended by another driver who was actually drunk. Police came and filed a report and he was arrested. My car doesn’t have any major damages that I can see just a small scratch from the other parties license plate.
The people in my car was myself, husband, mother and my sister who was 37 weeks pregnant at the time. I have some back pain but X-rays came back normal. My question is what can I do now? Is it worth going through the claim process? I did start one with his insurance but I am not sure if it is worth the hassle.
